Shea Butter And Cycling, A Great Combination!

What in the world does Shea Butter have to do with cycling?”

I am so glad that you asked! First, let me share with you my recent adventure on my bike and it will tie in nicely with the post. After months of working to recover from a serious back strain, and having my back procedure canceled due to my sorry insurance denying coverage, I decided to get back out on my bike. This was one of the few activities that I could do that actually made my back feel better. I got out this morning and hit a very nice local trail; The Rock Island Trail. If you are ever in the KC area, you should check it out. There is a great coffee shop; Rock Island Coffee (Thatcher is DA MAN!) in Raytown, MO about 3 miles from the stadium. It is a beautiful ride, you just have to dodge the kids, walkers, snakes and chipmunks.

Before each ride, I make it a point to rub my legs, thighs, back, shoulders and arms down with some Muscle Relief Shea Butter (Medicinal) and the I use a good amount of Just Shea (Core) for those um, nether regions to prevent chaffing. I have never had any issues and it makes for a pleasant ride. The recovery is a lot less painful as well. I come home, take a nice hot shower and have another round with the Muscle Relief and enjoy the rest of my day.
